I Just Got Back, How Can I Be Homesick?

This is a complex question with many ramifications, but bear with me, I am an Aries and I know Ram-ifications. I am home in Sonoma County as of April 15th, and I am afflicted with severe allergies: sneezing, itchy weeping eyes, asthma, therefore I am sick at home or homesick. I would call in sick but I’m retired.

But I also find myself yearning for the home I just left in Todos Santos, BCS. It’s a good thing Cinco de Mayo is coming up soon. We can have a party and steep ourselves in Mexican culture and pretend we’re back there. I know, Cinco de Mayo is not really a Mexican holiday (one of the few days that isn’t) but it’s still a good opportunity for me to show off my new cooking skills. That’s right Miguel Fisherrero is the Maestro de la Taco Pescado. Let me show you how The Mobile Mansion is getting ready for the big event and it’s still more than a week away.

The mobile mansion is desperately trying to be festive.

Once you have become intimate with a cactus the transitory comfort of a gringo celebration will fall far short of total immersion in the Casa Fisherrero experience, but it will just have to do till next November when we begin a new pilgrimage south of the border.

I feel your pain, Michael. Although I was only there for a week way back in January and too, Just a little dab I had. Looking forward to hearing good music emanating from your place On Cinco de Mayo.
