It’s happened before, will happen again and it’s happening now. We have no water in our cistern. This time they blame it on the town-wide road construction water usage. In California they are talking about “harsh” new water use restrictions. Here it’s “just wait a couple days, it’ll probably be back again soon”. So I am waiting for that glorious trickling sound which means that our tinaco (cistern) is refilling and it’s back to showering, flushing and washing dishes again. I hope it’s soon because the water in the fountain is running low and that’s our last flush water. We have water to drink, we buy the big Alhambra sized tanks, but that will get expensive if we start using it to wash dishes and faces. Oh well, manana es una otra dia, and the water office will be open. Maybe some energetic griping will help.
