Way back in !982, my friend and noted poet, Pat Nolan, asked me to do a few very simple stencils of common household objects for a book of his poetry entitled “Fundamental: Toy Poems. Recently he showed me a more recent version of these old stencils that he’d colored with stamp pad ink. At the time he planned on reissuing the book with these newly colored stencils. A rush of new projects served to put this book on the back burner, but I like what he did with these 32 year old stencils so I thought I’d share them with you.
